A BABY boy suffered a catalogue of appalling injuries at the hands of his father, a court heard.
Doctors found he had broken ribs, was covered in bruises and was emaciated when he was taken to hospital at just five-and-a-half- months old. He also had bleeding on the brain and behind his eyes, thought to have been caused by being viciously shaken.
Southampton Crown Court heard how the youngster’s mother Charmain Rippon had tried to cover up for partner Luke Lock.
Both deny all the charges against them.
