CHRISTMAS trees, poinsettias, cyclamens and other seasonal plants are now on sale at a Southampton horticultural project for people with mental health conditions.
Mayfield Nursery, in Weston Lane, Southampton, a subsidiary company of Solent Mind, employs 65 workers and 12 volunteers.
Manager Rachel Hampton said that the nursery helped to improve workers’ confidence, independence and skills.
The nursery will also be opening its doors this Saturday from 10am until 3pm, when there will be wreaths, decorations, gifts and plants on sale, as well as a visit from Father Christmas.
Mayfield Nursery is open Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am until 4pm.
