Southampton Airport reopens after snow

SOUTHAMPTON Airport has re-opened after heavy snow forced it to close this morning.
Staff had worked throughout the night to clear snow from the runway and some early flights were able to take off and land although there were warnings of delays.
However, heavy snow forced airport bosses to close again at 9am.
The airport has now re-opened again and passengers are advised to check-in as normal, and to contact their airline directly for further information.
