A WOMAN has died after a suspected fall from a tower block in Hampshire.
Police were called to Dumbleton Towers in Warburton Road, Southampton, following a report from a member of the public at around 12.40am.
Officers found the body of a 22-year-old, who is thought to have lived in the 14-storey tower block in the Thornhill area of the city, on the ground outside.
It is believed she may have fallen to her death.
Police are not confirming how she died, but a spokesman said they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
Fire crews from nearby Hightown station were called to assist police.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.

you didnt want to do that wrote:As a very close friend of the victim, I can assure you that your words are helping us to deal with our loss. It is of great comfort to know that those who didn't know her - or us, her friends - are thinking of us at such a difficult time. Thank you.
I wish I found it hard to believe how many of these kind of tragedy's are happening in our area but with the way we all just want to carry on with our own lives, blinkered to those around us I regret that they will continue. Any one got any ideas as to how we could help to bring the number down. I hope those close to this loss can find the support they are going to need. I doubt it will help much but many of us are thinking of you.
