A HAMPSHIRE mum who attacked a man with a bottle has been given a nine-month suspended prison sentence.
Jane Kitts, 38, of Bays Road, Pennington, attacked the man following an argument in July 2007.
Winchester Crown Court heard that she also assaulted the man, with whom she had been having an affair, on two separate occasions in December 2008. He needed stitches after Kitts smashed the bottle over his head during the first assault.
Kitts, who admitted two charges of assault by beating and one of wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, was given a 36-week sentence for GBH and one month for each assault, suspended for one year.
