MORE than £30,000 has been raised for youth charity The Prince's Trust thanks to a presentation by former England rugby union coach Sir Clive Woodward.

Three hundred business leaders gathered at St Mary's Stadium to hear Sir Clive share his secrets on a winning mindset.

The event was sponsored by Southampton law firm Paris Smith & Randall and hosted by Saints chairman Rupert Lowe, who is also regional chairman of The Prince's Trust.

He said: "We are extremely grateful to Clive for making the event such a success.

"The money raised today will have a huge impact on the lives of many young people in Hampshire."

The Saints are one of 62 professional football clubs in the UK working with the trust to support young people aged 16 to 25.

In 2005/06, the trust aims to support 300 young people in Hampshire alone.
