Marketing agency LeepeckGreenfield has strengthened its new media division by appointing Richard Smith as new media manager.

He is heading up the LPGF3 division, working with clients on all aspects of Web design, programming, information technology and Web-based software solutions.

Richard joins the full-service agency with more than ten years' experience in computer programming and information technology.

He has worked for an impressive list of companies, including a major national bank, as well as on Ministry of Defence contracts.

A graduate from Southampton City Training, where he won the trainee of the year award for excelling in technology, Richard has also spent time in Spain and Gibraltar running his own computer business.

LeepeckGreenfield joint managing director Stuart Greenfield said Richard's appointment would take the firm's new media division to the next level.

Stuart said: "Richard joins at a time when LPGF is expanding its portfolio and his experience and ideas provide the ideal opportunity to develop our services to include IT consultancy and support for IT client systems."

Richard said: "I'm delighted to be joining one of the biggest agencies in the south and look forward to working on a diverse range of projects."
