THERE was loads of rhythm and absolutely no blues at all when Noah Messomo banged a drum for music at the Coda Centre.

Ten children and an equal number of mums, dads or other child minders joined in with Noah's music, mimes and stories and had lots of fun.

Deft of hand and chock-full of rhythm, ululating and singing, Noah from the Cameroon held the children spellbound as he told tales of Africa.

Noah's African Drumming workshop was one of a week of Easter events staged by the Coda Music Centre in Chewton Farm Road at Walkford.

The centre, run by trustees as a charity, provides music and music tuition for people of all ages and of all abilities.

During the next five years director David Walters wants to raise £1.25 million to buy the freehold and improve and expand facilities at the centre at Chewton Farm.
