EXPANDING Southampton-based cable assembly and preparation specialist CF Electronics has been awarded an ISO9001 accreditation after only four months of trading, following a rapid period of growth.
CF Electronics, established in August, has already experienced a boom in business. With offices in Portswood, the company employs nine people and specialises in cable preparation and the manufacture of wire looms. In addition, CF Electronics
produces cable assemblies and cabinet wiring and these products are used across a broad
spectrum of industry sectors including aerospace, defence and electronics.
The company was awarded ISO9001 after meeting tough inspection procedures and displaying a firm commitment to meeting the very highest of
quality standards across its product range.
Alan Chatfield, director of CF Electronics, said: "We are delighted to have gained our ISO9001 accreditation so quickly after forming the company.
He added: "We have been very pleased with the growth we have achieved to date and by gaining this very important quality standard, our trading reputation will be greatly enhanced."
