THE Daily Echo's regional premiere of the new Bond movie has already been a big hit with film fans - and it hasn't even happened yet!

Tickets for next week's screening of Die Another Day, which stars Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry, have already sold out, guaranteeing a big boost to local charity Leukaemia Busters.

At £20 a ticket, almost £10,000 has already been raised by the premiere, with further funds expected to be raised on the night through an auction, a raffle and charity casino tables.

The auction lots and raffle prizes include a pampering day for two at Mist-Teeq beauty salon, a family ticket to Cinderella at The Mayflower with a chance to meet its star, Brian Conley, a Saints shirt signed by all the team and a go-karting day at Wessex Raceway.

The premiere, taking place on November 19, will also boost the profile of Leukaemia Busters.

Funds raised by the premiere will go towards the charity's Cure for All campaign to develop new drugs for children with currently incurable forms of leukaemia.

Although tickets have sold out for the regional premiere of Die Another Day, names are being put on a waiting list for returns. Details are available on 023 8042 4768.
