Phil Warner is back with Saints two months ahead of schedule. The young full-back was loaned to Brentford for the season but has been overlooked by manager Ron Noades.
The promising 21-year-old, who has made six league appearances for his home-town club, will now train at The Dell until the end of the campaign. But he will only be allowed to play friendlies as Brentford are continuing to pay his wages.
He said: "I am delighted to be back. It has been a dead season for me. Now I just want to get down to some hard work and set about impressing the new manager here."
