SWINGS, roundabouts and slides -- for these youngsters, nothing was too much trouble.
For two hours, year one pupils at Locks Heath Infant School had the opportunity to create their ideal playgrounds.
It was all part of their design and technology class, and assisted by their teachers they produced colourful and creative results.
Teacher Anna Raikes, said: "We took them to local playgrounds first to give them inspiration, and then they set to work on the project using an assortment of items from straws to pipe cleaners and paper to make their designs,
"The whole event worked really well and we were pleased with the results.
"The children were totally engrossed in what they were doing and so were some of the parents who came along to help."
Up to 120 year one children took part in the exercise and the school is now going to hold onto the best designs and put them on display.
