COLDEN Common are aiming to lift the Hants Intermediate Cup for the second time in three years at Christchurch's Hurn Bridge tonight (7.45pm).
The Wessex 3 club will be up against their old Hampshire League opponents West Wight looking for a repeat of the 2004 final when they defeated Southbourne 1-0 with a Richard Lang goal.
Common have had a formidable march to the final.
They whipped Fordingbridge Turks 6-0, Urban Bournemouth 9-0, M&T Awbridge 6-0 and Mottisfont 3-0 before beating Southbourne 1-0 in the quarter-finals courtesy of Dean Higgins, who has scored 13 to date.
In the semi-final they eclipsed VT FC Res 3-1 through two Lee Kelly penalties and one from Lang.
