A CYCLIST sustained serious injuries in an early morning collision.
The incident, involving an Audi travelling eastbound, and the cyclist happened on Northam Road, at the junction with Britannia Road at 7.20am on Tuesday.
The cyclist, a 66-year-old man from Chilworth, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with multiple fractures including a broken wrist and fractured arm, but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
