VILLAGE life came to the city when residents put on a show of gardening and handicraft skills at Upper Shirley High School.
The annual Upper Shirley Village Show included art and school work from pupils of all ages, and raised more than £700 for local charities.
Ward councillor and city sheriff Terry Matthews opened the event at the Bellemoor Road school, which was attended by hundreds of residents. Pictured are pumpkin growers Ryan and Daniel Young.
