One of the Army’s most senior brigadiers will be roaring into Winchester on a Triumph motorbike next week, as part of a fundraising mission.
Brigadier Richard Dennis, the British Army’s Director of Infantry, is visiting the city during a week-long whistle-stop tour of the force’s regimental headquarters.
Dubbed the ‘Biking Brigadier’, he’s raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund and will be stopping off at The Rifles’ Peninsula Barracks on the afternoon of Friday, October 8.
