THE man who has gone missing after taking part in a clinical trial for malaria has been caught on CCTV.
Detectives investigating the disappearance of Southampton man Matthew Lloyd have today released a picture of a confirmed sighting of him.
Matthew, who is a nurse, was reported missing on Wednesday, October 7, when he missed an appointment for treatment as part of the trial in Oxford.
He had been to his previous appointment on October 1 in London, where he was exposed to the malaria virus and was due to go for a follow up appointment on the 7th. Police have been able to establish he had traveled to Milton Keynes and London during this time and possibly to Birmingham.
He was caught on CCTV in London in the Kings Cross area at around 9.50am on Tuesday, October 5. This is the last confirmed sighting of Matthew.
There have been a number of calls from the public and possible sightings following the national media attention to Matthew’s disappearance however none are confirmed at this time.
