A GRENADE sparked a bomb scare at a Hampshire dump today.
Bomb disposal experts were called in after the weapon was discovered this morning at the household recycling centre in Barnes Wallis Road, Segensworth.
The facility was closed to the public immediately after the gas-filled grenade was spotted at around 8.40am.
The pin had not been removed from the grenade, and emergency teams have removed it from the scene.
The centre was re-opened shortly before 10am.
