HAMPSHIRE cricketer Dominic Cork is to get his skates on to take part in hit TV series Dancing on Ice.

Cork, 39, a former England player who captained the county last summer, will be in the only sportsman in the field for the new run of the hit ITV1 show that starts on January 9.

He will be joined on the show by former Neighbours star Craig McLachlan, 45, who has been a regular in show at the Mayflower in Southampton.

Other celebrities in the line-up include Dave Vitty, 36, Radio 1 breakfast DJ Chris Moyles' sidekick Comedy Dave, England footballer Frank Lampard's ex Elen Rivas, 34, presenter Jeff Brazier, 31, Victoria Cross hero Johnson Beharry and former news presenter Angela Rippon, 66.

Former EastEnders actor Sam Attwater, 24, who played Leon Small, ex-Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, 27, and Loose Women host Denise Welch, 52, are also included.

They will be joined by TV pair Richard and Judy's daughter Chloe Madeley, 23, kids' TV host Laura Hamilton and actress Nadia Sawalha, 46.
