Cat that looks like Voldemort from harry Potter find new home

Daily Echo: Charlie, the cat dubbed Voldemog Charlie, the cat dubbed Voldemog

THE HOMELESS moggy feared too ugly to be rehomed has found a purr-fect new home family.

Dubbed Voldemog because of its uncanny resemblance to the evil Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter films, Charlie was struggling to find a new home.

But within hours of his story appearing in the Daily Echo, the Blue Cross Centre in West End, was inundated with calls, including one from a lady in Worthing who was able to reserve him first.

Yesterday she met Charlie, who has had his ears and nose removed after suffering from skin cancer, and the pair immediately bonded.

The 14-year-old domestic shorthaired cat is now preparing to move into his new home next weekend.

A spokeperson from the Blue Cross said: “They got on really well and we are now making the preparations for him to go home with her at the weekend.

“She is not a Harry Potter fan, she just heard of his plight for a nice, quiet home and she could offer him that.”

I'm glad it's been re-homed - perhaps we dispense with the endless reports of the creature.
I'm also glad the new home is too far away for it to come sh*tting in my garden.
No-one's forcing you to read every report are they???? nope....

I for one found it quite a touching story amongst all the 'cuts' and 'deaths' and things, sometimes we need a bit of light relief and awareness raising.

I too found Voldemog really funny, just like the thought of half the cats in Hythe shi**ing in Get It Right's garden.

Thanks for V day reminder, a quick visit to the shops on the way home.
