A FAMILY from hell who were evicted from their home last year have launched a fresh reign of terror on their new neighbours.

Residents of the Hampshire estate say that they have been “betrayed” by the system as the family of ten has subjected them to countless acts of vandalism and antisocial behaviour.

Despite calls to the police almost every day, desperate community members say they fear that nothing is being done to end their living nightmare.

Daily bouts of bad behaviour since the eight children and their parents moved in include:

• Dog excrement dumped on doorsteps.

• Frozen condoms hurled into family back gardens.

• Food, including potatoes, peaches and eggs, catapulted over fences.

• Rubbish and unwanted furniture left on the estate’s green.

• Insults, abuse and threats shouted at neighbours.

• Damage to cars and property.

One traumatised neighbour, who did not want to be named for fear of reprisals, said: “Whoever can do something, please help us. We are begging now.

“Everyone round here was as nice as pie to them, we gave them a chance, we did everything we could but they have proved they can’t behave and they are here with a vengeance.

“The problem has only been moved to our community. We say move them in next door to a police station.”

Another resident, who would also only speak if the Daily Echo protected their identity, said: “We’ve gone through so much hell.

“I feel let down, without a doubt. We’re being betrayed by the system because when people do things like that you would think there are systems in place to do something about it.”

The saga comes less than six months after the Daily Echo reported how it cost the taxpayer tens of thousands of pounds, taking more than two years to get a court order to boot the family out of their old address in Hedge End, where they caused misery.

The Daily Echo is still gagged from telling you who they are or the location of their privately-rented home, because of a court order protecting their identity.

But it appears that despite their new chance, the neighbours from hell have not given up on old habits.

The resident added: “We are living a nightmare. We can’t go out in our back garden because we are waiting for something to be catapulted over.

“We do not deserve to live in fear. We are finding this all too much and very difficult to deal with. Everyone on the entire estate is suffering. Some people are scared to go out of their houses alone.”

Another resident said that some people who have lived there for more than 20 years are desperate to move.

He added: “We go out for the day just to get a break but this is where we call home.

“We can’t escape. We always have to come back to it, face the problem and wait to see what else they have in store.”

Other families fearful to leave their homes alone have resorted to installing expensive CCTV in a bid to record the shocking scenes and bring the family to justice.

One resident said: “We have rights and can’t keep being bullied by this family from hell.”

A police spokesman said that the force is monitoring the situation, and urged any residents who feel that they have been the victims of antisocial behaviour to report any problems.
