POLICE are investigating a suspected attempted arson attack on a Southampton job centre.

Windows were smashed at the Bernard Street Jobcentre Plus office late last night and "an accelerant" poured in, but no fire was ignited.

Specialist police and fire officers from Hampshire's arson investigation team have spent the morning at the scene and the incident is now being treated as suspected arson.
