PEOPLE with disabilities will be shown how to report hate crime during a specially arranged roadshow in Hampshire.

Anyone with a disability, their friends or carers and anyone with an interest in disability issues is being urged to attend the police-organised event at the Hexagon Centre in Chandler’s Ford.

It will be a chance to speak to officers, view police equipment and take part in a workshop about hate crime and ways to counter it.

Officers will be joined by staff from Hampshire Fire and Rescue, Eastleigh Borough Council, Wessex Housing and Hampshire Autistic Society.

For more information about the event, on September 7, between 10am and 3pm, contact stephen.hill@hampshire.pnn.police.uk or samantha.o'hanlon@hampshire.pnn.police.uk To report disability hate crimes and incidents, call police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
