FUTURE elites of Fleet Street have identified a Hampshire university as one of the top places to study journalism in the country.
The journalism course at the University of Winchester was ranked top in England for academic support and learning resources in the 2011 National Student Survey.
Students were also very satisfied with dance, education studies and theology and religious studies, which appeared in the top ten.
Elsewhere at Southampton University students were very happy with the music course, giving it a 100 per cent satisfaction rating. Other high-ranking courses included archaeology with 97 per cent, french with 98 per cent and history with 95 per cent.
English was one of the most popular courses at Southampton Solent University, with 95 per cent of students satisfied, while languages followed closely with 94 per cent and Mechanical Engineering earned 93 per cent approval.
