THREE police officers were injured as they tackled a fight outside a Southampton pub last night.
One officer needed hospital treatment for an injured wrist as they tried to break up a punch-up involving three men outside the Prince of Wales pub in Northam Road, Northam, at around 8pm.
Four people, all from the same family, were arrested for public order and assaulting the police.
Three men, aged 45, 21 and 24, and a woman, aged 45 were detained, held in custody overnight and were being questioned this afternoon, said a police spokeswoman.
The officer with the injured wrist was unable to return to duty.
