A WOMAN came downstairs to find a burglar trying to get into her home.
The 32-year-old told police how she heard someone trying to get into her house through the back door.
She saw a figure trying the lock on the outside but he ran off at her approach.
Officers believe the would-be burglar crept through gardens at the bottom of Coxford Road.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious between 9.45am and 10am on Wed-nesday to call 101.
