A FATHER and daughter needed rescuing after their boat broke down near the Isle of Wight yesterday.
The Calshot RNLI all weather lifeboat Alexander Coutanche was diverted from a routine exercise at around 1.45pm, to help the 47ft motor cruiser, whose engines had failed near to Egypt Point.
Crew from Calshot place the cruiser in tow and took it to Hamble Point Marina for repairs.
