AN INTREPID mum-of-two who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 16 years ago will leap from a plane to help others with the condition.
Brave Jayne Harvey, pictured above, said her disability has encouraged her to make the most of life and push her body to the limit.
The 46-year-old from Hedge End will raise money for MS Friends, a newly formed community group, for which she is the treasurer.
Jayne will complete the parachute jump on September 8 at Old Sarum Airfield – but is hoping she can use the coming months to attract sponsorship for her cause.
She said: “Since I have been ill I have realised there is so much disabled people can do.”
