DAREDEVILS who abseiled 60ft down Southampton General Hospital raised more than £30,000 for children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
A total of 100 fundraisers took the plunge for the Daily Echo-backed Every Step Appeal - which is aiming to collect £40,000 in the next year to ensure those families battling the disease get vital support.
But the one event alone raised £28,000, which will total £32,000 when gift aid contributions are added.
