POLICE are investigating reports a car containing five teenagers that smashed into another vehicle and a garden wall was being driven in convoy around a town before the crash.
Two of the teens in the Skoda Fabia received minor injuries in the collision with a Renault Clio, being driven by a 40-year-old woman, who was also slightly hurt.
The Skoda driver, a 17-year-old from Shanklin, Isle of Wight, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the crash in Fitzroy Street, Sandown, at around 9.50pm on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old has since been released on police bail until April 2, pending further inquiries.
