RESCUE bosses are hoping a touch of sea air will help this dog cope with a severe case of hay fever.
Despite being the natural playground for hounds, Guinness can’t go near a park because an allergic reaction to grass brings him out in a rash, causes him breathing difficulties and even makes him lose fur.
Previous owners were unable to look after him and he has been at a rescue centre in the Midlands, where staff discovered that the condition improved when he was away from grass.
He has now been moved to Southampton, where it is hoped he can be rehomed near the sea.
Lara Alford, of the Blue Cross adoption centre in Bubb Lane, said Guinness should with the right care the condition can be kept in check.
