A WOMAN fell to her hands and knees when she was targeted by a bag snatcher.
The 21-year-old was walking home from work from Rownhams Lane, Nursling, and went across the motorway bridge and into a cutway when the thief struck.
The man, wearing a dark coloured hoody and a scarf around his face, approached the woman asking for a light for a cigarette.
When she said she didn’t have one, he grabbed hold of her handbag, causing her to fall over so he could steal it and run off.
Her bag had £85 of cash inside and some make-up.
He is described as 5ft 10in, white skinned and wearing light blue gloves.
