ONE of the UKs most enduring bands, New Order will play Bestival 2012, the Daily Echo can reveal.
Since the band’s reformation last year, with Gillian Gilbert back among their ranks, interest in them has been at fever pitch so Rob da Bank has pulled off a coup by booking them to headline Saturday night at Robin Hill Country Park.
With an armoury of anthems stretching back three decades, including Blue Monday, True Faith and Regret, New Order live is an essential experience.
Spectacular live act Friendly Fires, electro-rockers Death in Vegas and eclectic art pop quartet Django Django have also been added to the bill for the event, from September 6 to 9.
