FIRE crews are battling a blaze at a Hampshire waste metal yard after 40 tonnes of mixed scrap metal went up in flames.

Around 40 firefighters from stations across the county and five officers are at the scene of the severe fire.

Emergency services were alerted just after 10pm last night and the incident is still ongoing.

There are five fire appliances, two water carriers and a multi roll vehicle at the scene of the blaze in Hollybush Lane in Aldershot.

Hmmm a multi roll vehicle. I wonder what flavours of roll they are offering? Or is it possible we are referring to a multi role vehicle here!
