Scam warning
RESIDENTS in Stubbington and Gosport are being warned about a door-to-door sales scam,which could be leading to burglaries.
Salesmen are cold calling residents claiming to be ex-convicts.
They then try to sell household products at inflated prices. Police are investigating a link with burglaries in the Alverstoke area – with officers concerned that the salesmen could be using the scam to get a closer look at homes.
