HAMPSHIRE wrapped up a comfortable 274-run win over Loughborough University MCCU in a pre-season friendly at the Ageas Bowl today.
Having posted 445-7 declared and a rain-interupted 11-1 in reply to Loughborough’s first innings total of 166, Hampshire made short work of the students’ second innings, bowling them out for 116 in 51 overs.
Chris Wood added to his five first innings’ wickets by claiming two more, while there were three each for David Balcombe and Liam Dawson.
