Samurai sword charge
A WINCHESTER teenager has appeared in court on charges of having a samurai sword in public.
Jack Marcus Thomas, 19, of Thurmond Crescent, Stanmore, is alleged to have had the sword in Otterbourne on March 11.
Thomas was remanded on unconditional bail until May 24 by magistrates in Andover.
