POLICE have cordoned off part of a Southampton street after a man was found collapsed.
The man has been taken to hospital for treatment, but it is not yet known if he suffered a medical problem or was the victim of an assault or criminal activity before he was discovered on Monday evening.
Police are waiting to speak to the man as soon as he is well enough, but an area of Bitterne, near to the Sainsbury's supermarket, has today remained cordoned off to preserve the scene in case it is discovered that a crime was committed.
