MOTORISTS are facing long delays after a caravan overturned on a major Hampshire dual carriageway.
Tailbacks are stretching for up to five miles on the A31 through the New Forest, and on the M27 westbound following the incident.
A caravan heading east is reported to have overturned and smashed through the central reservation of the A31, close to Junction 1 of the motorway at Cadnam.
The A31 was closed in both directions after the crash, with delays of at least half an hour being reported for eastbound traffic.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured, or if any other vehicles were involved.
