Elderly woman injured in car accident
AN elderly woman has been injured in an accident with a car in the New Forest.
The victim was in collision with a Ford Ka at the junction of Gosport Lane, Lyndhurst, and the High Street just after 4pm.
A police spokesman said the air ambulance had been called, although her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
He added that the accident had resulted in a large build-up of traffic in the area.
