Appeal to find missing teen mum Sadie Doughty and daughter Amelia

Concern grows for missing mum and baby daughter Concern grows for missing mum and baby daughter

CONCERN is growing for a Hampshire mum and her one-year-old daughter who have gone missing.

Sadie Olivia Doughty, 19, from Lower Brownhill Road, has not been seen by her family since Friday afternoon and they believe she has taken her young daughter, Amelia, with her.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or who knows of the whereabouts of Sadie and Amelia to contact them as soon as possible.

They are also urging Sadie, pictured in a photo released by police, to contact her family if she sees this appeal, to let them know that she and Amelia are safe.

Detective Sergeant Ian Craddock said: “Our priority is the safe return of both Sadie and Amelia.

“If Sadie hears of this appeal, we would strongly urge her to ring us as soon as possible and let us know she is okay.

“Please just call 101 and ask for Southampton CID or the patrol sergeant, or you can speak to the control room. We need to know that you are both safe and well, and we can help you.”

Anyone who thinks they know where Sadie and Amelia are is urged to call police straight away on 101 and ask for Southampton CID or the patrol sergeant or speak to the control room.

What is wrong with the picture? It appears she is taking a picture of herself and her daughter in the far right background.

I'm hopeful they are both found safe and well.

So the Police just made all this up and issued a Press Release? This article is a Police Press release not some made up non-story.

That photo WAS NOT issued by the police. ONCE AGAIN the daily echo has been prowling around FACEBOOK. I have 17 mutual friends in common with her, and have often see this picture pop up on "Friends you may know".

I hope she is safe and well and comes back soon.

There is nothing to worry about as sadie told me and the rest of the family she is back on monday and she will be fine.. Don't be worried and everyone stop making a big because she's isn't missing! The police was told very clearly that she is away till monday!

The photograph was provided to us by Hampshire Constabulary - I have the email from them with the photograph attached.

Southampton CID or the patrol sergeant, or you can speak to the control room. We need to know that you are both safe and well, and we can help youThis is the last few words from the article on this report "we can help you" this clearly means the girl is in trouble so lets hope that they are both ok and they do return today safely..
