Man accused for Agim Hoxha's murder appears at Southampton Magistrates Court

A man has this morning appeared in court charged with the murder of a Southampton crane driver whose body was found in a burnt-out car.

Arben Lleshi, 25, from Southampton spoke only to confirm his name when he made the appearance before Southampton Magistrates Court.

Dressed in a black shirt and jumper he was flanked by two security guards and told he would be remanded before he appears in Winchester Crown Court on Monday, May 28.

The Daily Echo told how Lleshi, of Onslow Road, Southampton, was flown back from Italy yesterday afternoon having been arrested 12 days ago by a team of Hampshire detectives who had flown to Rome.

He was charged last night with the murder of Agim Hoxha, 29, whose body was found by firefighters in his burnt out silver Mercedes in Chilworth Drove on April 10.
