Contributors should be aware that my earlier contribution criticising the Echo for inviting comments on tragedies such as this one has been deleted by the Echo.
In my experience such invitations result in comments speculating who did what, where and when and give little thought to the victim's family and friends who are grief stricken.
My earlier contribution expressed my sincere condolences to the victim's family and friends.
The Echo chose to delete it -- so much for the freedom of speech.
For once I am in agreement with George 4th.
