Stones hurled at M3 drivers
POLICE have described the actions of youngsters who threw stones at motorists on a Hampshire motorway as “clear stupidity”.
Schoolchildren were seen throwing objects from a bridge that runs over the M3 linking Chandler’s Ford and Boyatt Wood. The driver called police, who were deployed to the scene on Monday evening, but the youngsters had gone.
As a result officers have been visiting schools in the area to warn youngsters about the dangers of throwing objects at cars.
Sgt Chris Spellerberg, from Eastleigh police, said: “This is clear stupidity. The consequences could easily have been serious injury or worse.”

When presented with a dead easy, straight to print article like this, use a bit of professional integrity and question it.
Ask the Police, who after all patrol the motorway regularly, just HOW LONG after the initial report they actually condescended to visit the scene. Schoolchildren top speed=6mph, Police patrol cars top speed=120mph. Do the maths.

Eventually there would be so many bodies on the Motorway that the cars wouldn't be going anywhere, thus lessening the severity of the initial offence.
