  1) If you are an Illegal Imigrant then you can't buy a flat. 2) Natives? Not many Old Britons round here. The Roman came nearly 2000 years ago, then the Saxon, Normans etc. Pubs are closing because its cheaper to drink at home and people need homes. That said this spate of pub based arson is getting an issue.

  I know of a lady who was allowed the right to reside as she was married to a Brit.they divorced she got a mortgage buys a flat marry's some one from her own country living here as a student now he's a British Citizen?not bad for an illegal.
