TV star Chris Evans handed over the keys of his treasured multi-million pound collection of Ferraris to strangers in Hampshire today.

Chris auctioned off a scenic road trip in his luxury sports cars for Children in Need raising £1.5 million for the charity.

This morning the star himself broadcast his Radio 2 Breakfast Show live from the New Forest's luxury hotel Chewton Glen before roaring off with the Magnificent Seven winners.

Each winner and co-driver of the Magnificent Seven Breakfast Show Drive and Dine, which is now in its fourth year, will head across the countryside and each couple will get to drive all the cars.

Chris handed over the keys to five of his Ferraris which were added to a further six loaned for the event.

They will head across the countryside taking in various landmarks.

The collection of Ferraris included a 288 GTO, limited edition SA Aperta, legendary F40 and a one-off, multi-million pound 250 GT.
