London certainly won't lose their unit as everything is biased towards the capital. If Bristol is closed then where will people from Devon and Cornwall go?
I really, really hope Soton stays open but suspect it'll close. :(

The principle is that every centre should be performing a minimum number of ops each year per surgeon, as the evidence is that this makes them safer and more children survive. London has a large enough population to make two centres sustainable.
Each of the 4 options allows for 2 children's heart centres in London. Why? London is expensive to get to by train, impossible to park in if going by car and ideal only for people who live in and around London. Surely it would be fairer to have one each in London, Bristol and Southampton.

Fingers crossed that Soton survives.
