WHITCHURCH was invaded by furry creatures as part of the annual Sylvanian Families shopping weekend.
The specialist shop, which is usually based in London, visited the town on Saturday and Sunday.
Crowds gathered at the Gill Nethercott Centre, in Winchester Road, where they could look at displays, take part in competitions, meet some of the Sylvanian characters and buy their special mementos from the weekend.
Owner Angela Harwood said: “The Sylvanian Families shopping weekend was another amazing success as thousands of excited Sylvanian Families collectors descended on Whitchurch for a fun filled weekend seeing all their favourite Sylvanians under one roof.
“Many collectors had travelled a long way to take part in the weekend. It was an overwhelming success and everyone enjoyed the family fun atmosphere and meeting some of the characters including Freya Chocolate, Renee Ruby Sparkle, Ralph and Yardley Walnut.”
