THE Queen is to end her Diamond Jubilee tour of the country with a visit to the New Forest Show.

Her Majesty, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, will take in lunch at the Brockenhurst showground before viewing livestock and presenting prizes.

Show president and TV gardening personality Alan Titchmarsh will greet the royal couple, taking them on a tour, by car and on foot, of the many stalls, exhibitions and demonstrations |on offer during the three-day |extravaganza.

The visit, at lunchtime on July 25, is all the more exciting for organisers as it is the last stop on the five-month Diamond Jubilee regional tour.

It will be the first time the Queen has come to the show at New Park, Brockenhurst. which runs from July 24 to 26.

The Queen will also officially open the new Cowes RNLI lifeboat station on the Isle of Wight on the same day.
