Police in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses and information after petrol was poured through the letterbox of a house in Len Smart Court in Oakridge.

The incident happened between midnight and 5.30am on Saturday, July 14.

PC Michael Cowell said: “We do not know why this fuel was poured through this man’s letterbox and would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about this incident.

“If you saw anything suspicious in the area, please contact me.”
